Some of you may recall a post that I wrote back in August 2012 about the new extension to the art college https://chriswoodartist.com/2012/08/10/portsmouth-art-installation-part-2/ Here is a reminder plus a few images that I shot on Thursday in the sea mist that came down, obliterating the tops of buildings and making me very damp around the edges !
This is really a story about how to dismantle a large crane – all you need is a larger crane and a lot of well organised men with big hammers ! The view from my studio window is now very different and needless to say the new extension to the former School of Art Design & Media, now part of the new faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, is another step nearer completion !
