I couldn’t resist taking this shot – my only regret is that the flash on my trusty and battered Nikon D40 has died. I could have done with a little more light on the contents of the drain, which was a splendid example of a Hart’s Tongue Fern – Asplenium scolopendrium. It’s incredible what lies beneath our feet !
I see a small figure in there.
An interesting image, sort of like a prison greenhouse!
That would be a distant cousin of the Irish leprechauns ! I like the prison greenhouse analogy ! : ) }
