It’s “a tad parky” (rather cold) in the studio today but I’m not complaining. The sun is out, the barometer has soared to 1015 mbar. The NNW wind is 12mph (with gusts of 21mph) and it’s 8 degrees C, although taking the wind into account, the “feels like” temperature is nearer 4degrees C. I don’t have a thermometer in this room but the library, which is the warmest room in the house is 14.2degrees C so we won’t freeze. I should point out that we live in a typical rambling Victorian draughty townhouse. It could be argued that instead of spending all my money on a classic wooden boat – why don’t I get double glazing and a ton of insulation ! The answer is simple !
