I have made a little progress today and have moved on from the sketchbook doodle (at the bottom) and above is an embryo composition for the next more considered drawing. So far it’s only in graphite but after ransacking my ArtSpace Studio I found my bow of coloured pencils, which will add a little more depth to the piece. At the moment I am not sure whether I will add coloured inks as a further layer. Talking of layers, I will probably add more orchids and the odd ornamental sculpture. More news tomorrow
