Art, Typography or Printmaking ?

The transition from the image at the top to the one above is simple – but it might require a little practice ! I started with a computer generated typographic image and ended with a digital manipulation of a laser cut press print ! I love combining old and new technology and this is the first of a series of typographic diversions.  Ever since my halcyon days at art school I hated being pigeon holed and never liked it when people referred to me as a graphic designer, painter or a sculptor – which is why I refer to myself as an artist. It covers all bases – so goodnight from chriswoodartist !
